Cruise to Bahamas!
On November 27th we pulled out of Port Canaveral on the Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas. Before we left we went to see the space shuttle land and it was awesome except Leigh did not hit the record button on Camera so we did not get the awesome shots of the landing.
We boarded the ship around 11:30 Am went up to the Windjammer cafe and ate a really big buffet and met some folks on the cruise. We then toured the ship to see where everything was.
At 4:30 left left port for an awesome cruise.
They had so many activities on board and we only joined a few. But everything was wonderful. We ate dinning every nite in the Vincent Dining room where our waiter and wait staff were the best we laugh and joked and had a marvelous time.
The first day we were in Nassau the Bahamas. I will post pictures later of our Snorkeling adventure and boat tour. Then we spent the day on the Island of Cococay. We swam in the clear blue waters and had a wonderful picnic done by the ship.
We did shows on the boat and just enjoyed ourselves. I recommend a cruise to anyone. We met real interesting people. We sat next to a couple from India. Super nice people and a couple from the panhandle of Florida. The staff on board was so wonderful. Life is good for us I want to thank God for this wonderful life we are living.

Hi!! Terrific. I really liked your photos and I remember my cruise to CocoCay too (I'd recommend this site www.cococay.info , but seems it is under maintenance now).
I have been there in March 2009, fantastic place and enjoyed "Magesty of Seas" cruise.
I was at Cocoa Cay once and it is a great place to snorkel and have a good time.
We usually like to go to the Viking Crown Lounge when we first get on board, that way we can over look the ship and the city as well.
Glad that you had a great time
I had a great time on this cruise and i enjoyed the white sand beaches, explored coral reefs and the kids will have a blast with our Kids Crew and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy a drink in one of the 10 bars and lounges, catch a Second City Comedy show, or just relax on your balcony.
