The Flagler Beach Sea Sisters Red Hat Lunch!

This was a wonderful Lunch with my new sisters of the red hat society.

I am a new red hatter but, I think it is going to be fun and I will make great friends. We had this lunch at a little bed and breakfast that serves the best food.

This is a great way for me to meet friends since moving to Flagler Beach! Fun times are head for the Red Hat Flagler Sea Sisters!

Warm weather is finally back in Florida!

Well, finally the weather is becoming the weather we moved here for. Temps in the 70's and above. The winter seemed long. The summer should go by fast. Lots of plans.

Going to visit Joy and family in May. Our grandaughter Ronnae comes in June after we pick her up after her graduation from high school. July brings my sister's wedding. So we are looking forward to the summer and we are saving for for a cruise in the winter in decemeber.

Life is good in Flagler beach. Hope it is good for all of you. Please comment and keep in touch.

Hairy Chest Contest

Sorry these photos are side ways. But you can get the jest of Leigh in the hairy chest contest. he was the most popular guy on the ship after he won this contest. They close circuit videoed his performance and it played every 15 minutes on the whole ship. They were people congratulating him as calling out his name no matter where we went. Even in Mexico. They wanted his autograph and pictures taken with him. He was Mr Popularity for the whole cruise.

Day 4 fun day at sea.

Day four was spent out on the deck sunning. And leigh won the Hairy Chest Contest and was the most popular guy on the ship. They showed the video of the contest all day long so everyone knew the Hairy chest guy. We just lounged in the sun and enjoyed the last full day of the cruise.

Karaoke Night on the ship!

Karaoke night on board the ship was really fun. Leigh sang and alot of really talented people did to. The ship have a great room/bar for it and lots of singers and lots of watchers. we really enjoyed ourselves stayed up to midnight and then went to a midnight buffet and to bed.

Day three of the cruise

Day three was Cozumel Mexico. To be honest I did not like Cozumel at all lots of shops with pushie sales people trying to get you to buy. So we only spent alittle time there then headed back to the ship and went in hot tub and sunned on the deck.

Day two of the cruise Key West

Day two of the cruise we got up and saw the sunrise. Ate breakfast with our friends and was off the boat by 8 AM walking up Duval Street in Key West. We walked the whole street to the southern most point of the USA which you walk from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico.

We stopped and shopped at Jimmy Buffet's Margarita Ville and several other shops along the way. Watched the wild roosters walk the town and visited with some of the local characters. Took pictures at the southern most point in USA and headed back.
It was a fun day.

The shipped left port for Cozumel Mexico at 2:30 in the afternoon. We napped and got ready for Captain's night on the ship where we dressed in our best and went to dinner. After dinner we went to a show and the seas started to get very rough. Watching people trying to walk was funny as you would have thought we were all drunk. The major show was cancelled because of the rough seas but there was a very good comedian and 2 singers.

After we went to our cabins where I slept with a bucket by the bed because I was so sick.

But until the rough seas day two was my favorite.
