We are in Utah

Here we are in Kanarraville, Utah. We are packed in like sardines at this RV Park. Poor Leigh had a time getting RV in and he is really worried about getting out. We have to go around a corner that is pretty tight. With the trailer behind the RV it is hard to get around tight corners.

It has started to rain here but hopefully it will be gone tomorrow. We will headed out to Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks National Forest. We are looking forward to the 4 days we are spending here.

We really miss everyone we left behind in Montana ,but we are looking forwarded to our up coming adventures.

Last trip to Yellowstone

We made one last trip into Yellowstone hoping to see an elk with horns. In the spring when we got here we saw skinny elk and no horns. But as they have feed through the summer they have fattened up and I did get to see my elk with the horns. He was a beautiful. So now I can leave Yellowstone and know I came and I saw and I enjoyed.

Goodbye Lonesomehurst Campground

We leave Lonesomehurst with mixed feeling. We have met some of the most wonderful people in the world here and some real pains in the A__ . We have seen our first golden eagle here and had visits by bears, moose, bison ,wolf and cows. We have had great adventures. We caught lots of wonderful big fish, made great friendships, saw beautiful scenery and dealt with people who have camp here for 30 years one even 61 years and an ex -campground owner who was obsessive about giving up the campground. Thank God we worked for Vicki who was wonderful. I think if Dave had still had the campground we would have been gone the first week. So goodbye to Lonesomehurst and hello new adventures.

Farewell Party!

Our Boss Vicki spared no expense as she treated her employees to a rib eye Steak dinner with all the trimmings. We all had a wonderful time as we said our good-bye to one of the best bosses I have ever had. It was sad to say good-bye to all these friends as we go on to our next adventure.

Vicki I want to thank you for all the wonderful things you did for all of us. You put up with our blunders as allot of us were first time workampers. You treat us more like friends than employees. Thank you for being you. Your heart is gold. We loved working for you and we love you and your family. God willing I hope we return again at some point and work for you again. Thank you for everything.

Farewell to new friends!

Friends what would life be without them? Leigh and I have met some of the nicest people while we have been in Montana. Whether they were campers, fellow workampers, bosses, they all became our friends. I can't say I have ever met a nicer bunch of people in my life. As we all go our separate ways our life has been enriched by meeting all these wonderful people. I hope our paths will cross again.

Special Thank you!

I just want to thank Chris and Glen and Janet(not in picture) for hiring me and treating me so well. I enjoyed working for you and really appreciate the special perks like the gas to cover my drive back and forth to the Wilderness Edge, letting me do my laundry, and the extra food & drink left by your guest. You guys treated me like family. It was so nice working in such a great invironment. I loved seeing the wildlife coming into work daily and being in the cabins. It sort of fulfilled my dream of owning the log home. As I cleaned the log cabins I just pretended this was my home. That made the work fun.

Geese are gathering!

The canadian geese are gathering for their trip south. As they get ready so are we. We are packing up our outside stuff and getting the Rv ready for out trip south. We have really enjoyed our stay here and seeing and doing all we have done. We have enjoyed great scenery and met great friends. But the time is nearing for going on to our next great adventure.
