Boating on the 4th of July!
What a wonderful 4th it turned out to be. We enjoyed it on the St. Lawrence River where we fished and enjoyed the big ships. especially the newest in the canadian Steamship Lines fleet. It was hot and humid but we had a nice breeze on the river.
The only thing that would have been better would be to have family come up and enjoy with us. But our family have their own lives. We really miss them but understand they are busy living their own lives.
Hope all had a wonderful 4th of July. God Bless America and our troops that keep us free.

Working on the RV
Well, I guess any time you buy used you have to repair things. When we bought the Rv we notice water stains on the ceiling inside the Rv so we ask the dealer to please Caulk the RV roof really well. I guess they forgot to do that. because every time it has rained lately more and more of the RV ceiling has gotten stained. So my husband is on the roof caulking now and then we have to buy rubber roofing to seal the whole thing..
Not sure what we can do to remove the stains on the ceiling inside. I tried spraying oxiclean on it but that did not help. So for now we will just have stained ceilings. Hopefully in the future we can find a solution.
Only 100 plus days left then we will be on the road again. I can't wait.

We got another RV!
We are back in the RV business. We got this RV and come October we will go to Florida for 6 months and after that I am not sure. I would like to go to CO, Wa, and back to MT.
We had a little accident getting it in the driveway so some body work has to be done on the back passenger side. But I am more than ready to start the adventures again.

Hawaii Vacation to remember!
My big Christmas surprise was my daughter was going to take me to Hawaii for a week.
It was wonderful. She had to work there and I had to watch my grandson while she worked, but we had a wonderful time. Especially on her way of when we circled the Island and saw the beauty that is Hawaii. Then one day I toured the Polynesian Cultural Center. This was a wonderful time I shall remember for a lifetime. Thank you Joy. What a wonderful daughter you are.

This is the new addition to our family. Her name is baby. She was living in the barn here at Sunset Shores and when they closed the barn for the season she had no home. So we adopted her. She was skinny with sunk in stomach.
Now she is filling out and spoiled rotten. When we first got her she was so afraid and when she ate it was like she would never get another meal. Now she is finicky and I have to buy only certain kinds of food or she refuses to eat it. How on earth did she go from wild hungry and sacred to a spoiled rotten brat?

Hello Blog, it has been awhile since I visited you. So this is my latest in things to talk about.
My daughter Joy and her kids have moved back to New York State. She just bought a house and I when to visit to help if I could.
We haven't seen each other in quite sometime with me living in Florida, then moving back to Cape Vincent, and working. Her schedule and mine just was never right.
Well, I had to quit work to some leg problems. I can't stand on my feet for 6 and 8 hours like I use to. I have lots of pain. But I guess this is a blessing because I am now free to visit family more now.
Well, I have to tell you I didn't do much work in her house. I did weed a garden and bought her herbs for a neat herb garden on her deck. But mostly we just hung out and enjoyed each other. We had lots of fun and laughter. It sure was nice to be close again.
You know we go through life working to make a living and sometimes the truly important things get put aside for making a living. I am glad after all these years I am getting back to what is important. FAMILY!

Dad new boat
Well, as the temperature are finally starting to warm up. Dad has bought a little boat to get out fishing in. it is not big or even close to the boat we use to have but it will get him out on the water to fish.
When we lived up here before we had a big boat but we both worked and did not to spend the time on the river. Hopefully this time will be different, and hopefully Dad son Skip will come up with his boat and we can go out and fish and explore the river.
Hopefully he will be able to do things retired people are suppose to do. Fish and enjoy life on the river.
